Local Vacation Spot: Mountain View Grand

I have found your next winter vacations spot located in the heart of New Hampshire's White Mountains. This beautiful spot was founded in 1865 and you really feel like you’ve stepped back in time at this historic hotel  — it is the perfect place for a winter getaway, a place to recharge or a spot to bring the whole family . They have something for everyone - ice skating, ax throwing, snow tubing, an indoor pool, a farm and a spa, they have it all.

I spent a wonderful weekend here, on the first night we arrived, enjoyed dinner at one of the restaurants at the resort and hung out at the game room. We sipped champagne by the fire and hung out by the piano. On the second day we enjoyed the farm, spent time at the spa, took in the views at the tower and went on a magical horse drawn sleigh ride though the woods. Mountain View Grand is about a 3 hour  drive from Boston, be sure to put this  gem on your getaway list.
